The LA Black Worker Center (LABWC) seeks a Campaign Coordinator ready to make history while working with the first Black Worker Center in California, an emerging lead voice on Black work and economic justice in the nation. As a member of the organizing team, the Campaign Coordinator will help build worker power to eradicate the Black job crisis in Los Angeles by demonstrating a commitment to social and economic justice through collective/direct action, building collective power for Black workers; managing competing strategic priorities and work in a team environment with a deep willingness to work long hours and weekends when necessary, and the ability to work independently.

Position Overview: Development Coordinator

The LA Black Worker Center (LABWC) seeks a Development Coordinator who is ready to make history while working with the first Black Worker Center in California, an emerging lead voice on Black work and economic justice in the nation. Under the direction of the Co-Executive Director of Operations and Finance, the Development Coordinator will work as part of the operations team for our evolving organization transitioning from a fiscally sponsored nonprofit project to an independent 501(c)3. The Development Coordinator will collaborate with staff and grant writer to help execute fundraising strategies with foundations, government, and individual donors.

The LA Black Worker Center (LABWC) seeks an Executive Administrative Assistant ready to make history while working with the first Black Worker Center in California, an emerging lead voice on Black work and economic justice in the nation. Los Angeles Black Worker Center (LABWC) is seeking an experienced Executive Administrative Assistant responsible for providing administrative and accounting support for the Co-Executive Director of Organizing and Programs and the organizing team. The Executive Administrative Assistant reports directly to the Co-Executive Director of Organizing and Programs (“the co-ED”) and is highly organized, has excellent written and verbal communication in a non-profit setting, and handles confidential business with integrity.

Position Overview: Operations & Human Resources Manager

The LA Black Worker Center (LABWC) seeks an Operations & Human Resources Manager ready to make history while working with the first Black Worker Center in California, an emerging lead voice on Black work and economic justice in the nation. Under the direction of the Co-Executive Director of Operations and Finance, the Operations Manager will work as part of the operations and leadership teams overseeing the overall administration of our evolving organization transitioning from a fiscally-sponsored nonprofit project to an independent 501(c)3. The Operations Manager will oversee LABWCs office operations, human resources, and IT infrastructure and play a key role in ensuring all systems and procedures add to LABWC's mission and goals to be realized in the most cost-efficient, effective way.
